About Me:
Calaterly Montgomery is Director of Market Consolidation and Competitor Intelligence at Flarksdrum Livestock Group, a role she has held since joining the company in 2009. She holds an MSc in Applied Economics from the London School of Economics and has spent her career systematically identifying and neutralising competitive threats in regional pig markets. In 2023 she was named Flarksdrum’s Executive of the Decade, an award which, sources close to the company suggest, she had anticipated for some time.

A fact about me: Calaterly has been quietly purchasing and demolishing derelict rural telephone boxes across the Scottish Highlands since 2014 and has so far removed seventeen without any formal objection being raised.
My work mantra: Calaterly believes that sentiment has no place in commercial livestock markets, that small independent pig units are an inefficiency the industry cannot afford, and that consolidation is not a strategy but an inevitability.
